More

So today we bused to The Brick bright and early.
We picked out a mattress and reclining sofa loveseat that we're going to get whenever Gabe's step-dad Thomas is back from holidays. Which I guess might be tomorrow haha. I don't know when they'd be delivered, though.

I don't know if I mentioned it but we sold our couch to Colin because it was too big and bulky. L-shaped couches aren't convienent for a one room area,

This is the bed
and this is the couch.

The couch is two hundred percent nicer and comfier in real life, trust me.
The best part is because Thomas works at The Brick we get this all up to 50% possibly more.

After that we walked to Superstore and did grocery shopping. Boring stuff mostly. We also bought new bathroom mats, towels, etc to redo his dads bathroom. It was all old and yellow. So we bought a nice dark brown set.

Gabe's dad Martin picked us up after grocery shopping and we basically spent the rest of the night sealing meat with his food sealer (best appliance I've ever used) and organizing the kitchen.
About five bags of large garbage bags later and I think we've almost got it all cleared out haha!
We can at least walk in now.
I'd like to get some more cleaning done there but I guess I'll do it after we've got everything organized.

Uh... what else... we made hamburgers for dinner hahaa. We've been eating awful because there's no room to cook properly. Tomorrow will be our first real meal, pretty much.

Raz is being excellent today. She no longer hides when we're not in the room and has been eating tons.

Which reminds me. The air conditioner we were running last night was missing a wheel and I guess it leaked all night. Luckily we had a little mat underneath it that soaked most of it but it still managed to warp the hardwood a bit which was very disappointing.
Martin bought us a super absorbant rubber coated mat to put underneath it, and we switched it for the other air conditioner that didn't have a broken wheel. This one hasn't leaked at all.

What else? I don't know.
Did I mention Gabe's covered in cat scratches from Tazma?
I think I did. That was yesterday.

Sorry all my entries are boring, I don't have a very interesting life these days haha.
Okay, last night and today

We loaded the moving truck up fairly early because a few of the guys from Gabe's work and their wives came to help us load it.
We just passed it all over the balcony so it was super efficient and easy.
We brought the bed, couch, dresser, and clothes upstairs and put the rest of the boxes in the living room for the night.

After that all was done we went back to clean the old place all night, which was a pain but not so bad.
And then we brought the cats with us.
Harley was immediately happy and all purrs,
whereas Raz was very scared. She curled into a ball and leaned on my arm the whole car ride, and then when we put her in the room she hid in the corner. ):

Which is sad. She slept under the blanket curled up into me as close as possible. I didn't think she could become such a tight ball.

This morning Gabe and his dad went back to the place to do the walk-about while I stayed behind and began unpacking.
Raz stayed under a blanket for most of the time.

Then when he got back we looked at the place and decided the couch couldn't fit at all.
It was this large cumbersome L couch.
So, we called Gabe's friends Collin (who previously offered to buy it) and he came to pick it up right away.
We also sold him our coffee table which was also way too big.
Ahaha, and I just remembered yesterday we gave him our box spring for free because we're getting a new mattress monday.
After that we went through the kitchen and threw away tons of crap that had been there since Gabe's mom left. Unpacked most of our kitchen stuff but we're still not done. Ate pizza, and then we brought all our boxes upstairs into our room.
At one point Harley went wandering through the house and ran into Gabe's dads cat Tazma and Tazma freaked. Gabe grabbed her before she could attack Harley but she did a pretty bad number on Gabe's arm.
It scared Harley because she's the weirdest cat ever and actually loves everybody, so she just wanted to be Tazma's friend.

But oh well. Hopefully Tazma will get better.

Some time during the day Raz got better and now she'll emerge from hiding whenever we're in the room with her and there's no loud noises.
She also ate which is good because I was worrying (I even stuck the food with her a bit)

We had been constantly taking her out to force water on her though because it was honestly like 31C today. We hooked up the airconditioning for the cats at one point because we were worried they'd overheat.

Uhm what else... we got the boxes up and unpacked a bit. We took down the closet parts where we want the TV and put it in the slot there. I don't know.

We talked about it and decided to buy a new loveseat sized couch with the money we get from Colin. I don't know if we're going to even bother with a coffee table or not though.
If we do it'll be a cheap ikea one because honestly I'm sick of always worrying about the expensive furniture getting scratches.
I think we should wait until we have a house or something to get that stuff.

We also have a ton of junk that I don't know where to put.

It's hard because we're currently hardwooding the house so a lot of space is taken up. I have a feeling we're going to have a few boxes left full for the next month or so. Oh well.

That's all I feel like typing for now hahaha. Tomorrow I want to go to the store to buy some more hangers, bath mat,
and oh I can't remember right now.
Oh well. Hopefully I'll remember by tomorrow haha.

I'm not double checking this so it might be illegible...
I decided to start actually updating again, so

I think I will try to update at night but I doubt I'll have enough time later to do this, so early today!

I took the day off to pack today, because we're moving tomorrow. It's been boring.

Mark(our landlord) texted Gabe yesterday asking to show the place to some people within the hour but I didn't feel comfortable with the lack of 24hr notice. This is the third time he's done this. I've refused every time.
But, they didn't show up today anyways.

We're moving Gabe's figures and the TV today with his mom's van because they're fragile.
All the seats have been taken out though so I can't help them unload them. That's alright.

I should be packing right now but honestly after a day of it I need a break.

Gabe worked all day until about 6 or so. I had already packed the majority of the kitchen (and we have barely any food because I decided to push grocery shopping to the last minute so we wouldn't have to move so much food.)
anyways we went to the mall to eat. Being the tards we are we bought icecream on the way out. Even though we knew it was raining. Even though we wore sandals and no jackets in the rain.
Our cones were soggy so we pretty much got covered in icecream. We're smart, obviously.

It's an Aion beta weekend which I'm sad to be missing. My computer is all packed up too so I can't even play for an hour or two. Which is probably a good thing. (I'm on my laptop)

Honestly, it shouldn't take so long to pack but we have so much crap. Seriously. I don't even know why. What other 20yr old owns this much stuff. We're too domesticated.

This is a boring entry, haha. Oh well. It's for me really. I was looking back in my journal and I found all those entries I used to make while I was skipping class. They were really interesting to read.

Can you tell I'm tired? I don't make any sense and my grammar is awful.
I think I'm sick or something. I also have a cough and sore throat. Or maybe it's the hypochondriac in me showing through.
Gabe would say that.

I'm not looking forward to unpacking either. Especially putting all the furniture back together. I don't know if we're going to even put the table together.

Moving the cats is going to be difficult. We decided we're going to put them in the empty room with food, a blanket, and their litter while we load the truck and then leave them in the house.
We'll come back for them once we're done unloading, of course. We just don't want them to run outside or trip us while we're moving crap.

Which reminds me. Harley's depressed lately. She's acting all meek too. She wont come sit with you unless you call her, she'll just sit outside the door and stare at you all sad like. Gabe noticed it first. I've been giving her treats and extra love so she's been getting better, but it's still upsetting.
I have a theory that she was one of those cats people leave behind when they move and that's why she's getting depressed. Because she sees us packing with boxes everywhere, which would have happened before. It's just a theory though.

Raz on the other hand has been getting better. She asks for pets constantly lately and purrs every morning when we wake up. She's always had to be in the same room as us where ever we were but now she has to be right beside us or on us.

Maybe Harley is depressed because that's where she used to sit. She's always been really affectionate.
But, there's two of us, and I wish she'd realize she's always welcome even when Raz is there.

Oh well.
I'll probably update again tomorrow night before bed.
